Nike often falls back on overbranding, though their methods are slightly tweaked every season. This Spring, the brand has adopted a “Copy Paste” theme, which entails spreading their logos across more uncommon places.
Via this newly revealedDunk Low, Nike is highlighting one of their most familiar markings, which typically dresses a shoe’s tongue label. Here, it’s proliferated across the entire base — toe box, mid-panel, collar — printed in blue against a soft, heather grey textile. The tumbled leather overlays match said cool tone across the forward-half of the silhouette, while the rear portion opts for a much darker, greyer finish. Additionally, the Swoosh and lining are tinted down to a dark black, and the midsole/laces round out the colorway in white.
