Nike first released the Nike Air More Uptempo sneakers in 1996, inspired by the large bubble shaped letters on the shoes by street graffiti. Nike reintroduced this original model year in 2016, and later added more color schemes to the shoe, such as this children’s Nike Air More Uptempo Aqua (GS).

The first thing that catches the eye of these children’s Nike Air More Uptempo Aqua (GS) sneakers is the black capital AIR on the shoe, which gradually decreases from the collar to the toe. It does not use the traditional Nike logo, but instead has a reverse Swoosh check mark printed on the heel. The thick heel features different shapes and textures, complementing the soft fabric mesh upper and pure white shoelaces. This Nike Air More Uptempo Aqua (GS) shoe provides a classic Nike touch and features transparent bubbles surrounding the heel, showcasing the inner structure of the shoe to the wearer.
